Natalie Blom and Federico Godino are a duo of architects, artists and researchers. They met at The Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, where they were brought together by their shared interest in more-than-human perspectives in urban contexts, focusing on sites undergoing transformation, abandonment, and redevelopment.

Their project (em)Bodied Animal Training is an exploration of design fiction, possible ways of kinship with other living creatures while starting from real occasions of proximity in the city.

How can one relate to an experience of another species: living in the skin of another being? The seminal Staying with the trouble (D.Haraway) describes a word where this question is the center of a new relation of the human beings with their bodies. Starting from this imaginary this work expands the question and brings it into contact with situated issues. The attention of the viewer is directed towards non-human oriented spaces, questioning the city’s relationship with  wilderness.
